Would my boyfriend care about me having a scar..?

i am really embarrass because i have a hideous looking scar on my leg..but i make sure its not noticeable. i think hes the kind of guy who would care about it because one time i asked him if he would have sex with me if i got really fat over again (use to be fat as a teenager) and he said he would probably not want to :( but would still love me the same n,,n im scared of what he will think :( ,i really want to get rid of it but at the moment i don't have that kind of money to pay for a plastic surgeon to fix it :(
